Check Softpedia and hotscripts.com too. I use phpjunkyard a lot, personal fav.
I know where to search for script but I always prefer too hear (read) recommendations from people that actually use particular scripts.

Lots of times I check out the source on the existing ones, like the one I linked from PHP Junkies and from other free ones, then build my own using those as references just in case I screw up.
It takes a little bit of work, but you get exactly what you want that way.
